HEVER AND NEEDHAM
Rooms at hotel developments Hever Hotel in Kent and Needham House in Hertfordshire were sold at up to £250,000 each.
Investors were guaranteed a return of 10% of the purchase price every year for 10 years, with the developer promising to buy back rooms after five years at the original purchase price.
Investors were recommended to use solicitors Graham & Rosen of Hull, but the person handling the matters there, Sheena Taylor, was not a qualified lawyer and has since been banned from working for law firms for “manifest incompetence”.
We act for a group of investors and have brought a claim against Graham and Rosen for failing to give appropriate warnings in connection with the investment.
Our lawyers are currently in settlement discussions with the solicitor’s insurers.
